CHINA NOW REPORTS COVID TALLY SINCE 2021

Puzzling it maybe but China reports covid deaths after more than a year of hiatus since year January 25, 2021 as the country currently battles its most worst outbreak so far.

China's National Health Commission website listed two deaths in its currently most hit region Jilin

which borders Russia and North Korea.  Since the pandemic began, China now reports through its health commission that as of March 18, 2022 deaths now tally to 4,638  with 2,228 confirmed new cases compared to that of 2,416 from the tally a day earlier. It was recorded that 2,157 of the March 18 tally were locally transmitted from the population of Jilin and the  rest were from Fujian's southeastern province including that of Guangdong's southern province.

These casualty data quickly spread and trended into the social media world as support poured for China's advocacy of a zero-COVID policy.
